Out Of Town Donors

We work with a clinic in Windhoek (Namibia). What this means is – should you be selected to donate, you would need to travel to Windhoek to donate.

All the necessary travel; transport and accommodation arrangements, as well as your clinic appointments will be organised and paid for by Nurture. You will also receive a daily allowance for the days that you are away from home.

We work with the best clinic in Namibia. Together with the fabulous Dr’s and co-ordinators who we have worked with for many years (and who we absolutely adore) you will be well looked after in typical Nurture fashion!

How it would work:plane

If/when selected, you would be flown to Cape Town for a day to do the medical and psychological screening.  (Generally you fly in on the morning of your appointments and back home the same day.)  The reason for the initial screening being in Cape Town is that Aevitas Fertility Clinic in Cape Town is the partner clinic to the clinic in Windhoek.

If all is ok with those results – the actual donation will be planned for two/three months after your initial screening. Please be aware that during the actual donation you would be away from home/work for a minimum of 10 days.  A doctor’s letter can be provided for the initial day visit and for the duration of your donation stay in the host city.
